Is customer service not only to pick calls and take requests? Hmm, that is a big no. 

Being in this field for 3 years now, I must say you would need to pick some technical capabilities as well as have great communication skills to thrive. This is especially through if you want to work in the technology sector. 

In my previous workplace, which is a web hosting company I had to take up cPanel, WHM, DNS management, and some CRM courses to be enlightened as my job required me to troubleshoot scenarios in other to resolve customer complaints. 

This spurred my interest in tech though I am not fascinated by codes. That said, when the opportunity came to join a Fintech startup working to build an online payment gateway for merchants, charities, and businesses in Nigeria, I could not resist it. Today I am leading the customer support effort at PayedIn Technology. At PayedIn we have developed a foremost Payment marketplace that removes the hassle of payment gateway integration for most merchants. 

PayedIn is facilitating offline to online transition for most organizations with low technology budgets but needs to start leveraging online payment quickly. PayedIn app is available from the Android Play store and will soon be available from the IOS store although a web version is readily available so merchants can start receiving payments within minutes of signing up.

This past 4 months at PayedIn has been a learning, re-learning experience for me working closely with the product and engineering team creating processes that would avail users of a hitch-free experience of the PayedIn product an online shopping App. Working with a fintech startup comes with its challenge as you need to fully understand the online payment app so you can easily onboard customers who are very interested in what you are offering. I find joy talking to our earliest customers, getting to understand their pain points, and helping them to see new ways in which the PayedIn platform is addressing those pain points. Customers rave about the fast transaction notification, location triggered payment, recurring payment, and crowd funding campaign feature.
